Hi

My uncle Kenneth Champkin was also an engineer on HMS Black Swan at the time of the Yangtse River Incident.

My uncle Arthur Mclean who served as an engineer on H.M.S Black Swan during the Yangtse incident, which was one of the 3 ships that came to aid H.M.S Amethyst in the 1950's . Later he emigrated to Canada to work on a weather ship over there residing in Duncan on Vancouver island.
