Born in 1941 I have no memories of the war except vague recollections of playing with a gas mask and my Dad bringing home sweets when he returned from the Army.I love reading memoirs from World Ward 2 and films depicting true facts. Enigma is one of my favourite films and although life must have been precarious and scary the very danger added to the depth of appreciation of what one had. Technology we may have today but life then I feel must have been more rewarding and seldom boring.See More
